Dignity for the final journey
SBbio started out of a need to face the end of life with more dignity. In his work as an autopsy technician, Miika Savikkomaa noticed an ethical flaw: "the traditional plastic materials in the industry felt unethical and burdened nature."
The idea for the solution took shape one summer evening in nature, when Miika stopped to observe the cycle of nature. A vision was born for a product that would respect the natural cycle of life.
Today, SBbio offers a fully biodegradable and liquid-resistant lifting sheet for the deceased. It is a solution honed through practical experience, where functionality and environmental values meet.
